Words are the mind's wings, are they not?

Words are wind.

Words are finite organs of the infinite mind.

Words are the clothes thoughts wear.

I love the swing and swirl of words as they tangle with human emotions.

Words are the clothing of our thoughts.

Words to me were magic. You could say a word and it could conjure up all kinds of images or feelings or a chilly sensation or whatever. It was amazing to me that words had this power.

No matter how compelling or beautiful they may be, words appeal in the main to the linear, thinking mind that thinks in words.

In words are seen the state of mind and character and disposition of the speaker.

Words are clothes that thoughts wear

When books are opened, we discover that we have wings

Language is the light of the mind.

Words do two major things: They provide food for the mind and create light for understanding and awareness.

Words affect the mind in a pronounced way. Whether they are spoken or written, they are powerful influences.
