Never take advice!

Avoid taking advice from someone who gives advice for a living, unless there is a penalty for their advice.

Never trust the advice of a man in difficulties.

Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from.

Never take counsel of your fears.

Never ask anyone for their opinion, forecast, or recommendation. Just ask them what they have — or don’t have — in their portfolio.

You should never be in the company of anyone with whom you would not want to die.

When seeking guidance, don't ever listen to the tiny-hearted. Be kind to them, heap them with blessing, cajole them, but do not follow their advice.

Let no one persuade you by word or deed to do or say whatever is not best for you.

Never believe anyone who tells you that you don't deserve what you want.

Never allow a person to tell you no who doesn't have the power to say
yes.

Never say anything about someone that you wouldn’t say to them directly and don’t try people without accusing them to their faces.

Whatever you do, never waste your thoughts on other people’s ill-informed opinions and guesses.

Never contract friendship with a man that is not better than thyself.
