The individual who can do something that the world wants done will, in the end, make his way regardless of race.

In the end you should always do the right thing even if it's hard.

What one does is what counts. Not what one had the intention of doing.

For he will do
As he do do
And there's no doing anything about it!

A man may not know what will happen as a result of other people’s actions or as the result of unknown causes, but he always knows all possible results of his own actions.

What man really wishes to do he will find a means of doing.

People ultimately do what they want to do. They feel how they want to feel (or how they are feeling); they think what they want to think; they do the things they believe they need to do; and they will change only when they are ready to change. It doesn’t matter if they’re wrong and we’re right. It doesn’t matter if they’re hurting themselves. It doesn’t matter that we could help them if they’d only listen to, and cooperate with, us. IT DOESN’T MATTER, DOESN’T MATTER, DOESN’T MATTER, DOESN’T MATTER.

Everyman has his own destiny: The only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him.

the intention of every man acting according to virtue is to follow the rule of reason, wherefore the intention of all the virtues is directed to the same end, so that all the virtues are connected together in the right reason of things to be done, viz. prudence,

The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.

As the Zen Buddhist saying goes, how you do anything is how you do everything.

The fortunate is he whose
earnest purpose never swerves,
Whose slightest action
or inaction serves
The one great aim.

Why, even Death stands still,
And waits an hour sometimes
For such a will.

It doesn’t matter what you say you believe - it only matters what you do.
