Fear is the Fatal killer of Desire.

So that their fear is turned into desire.

Without a sense of urgency, desire loses its value.

From craving is born grief, from craving is born fear. For one freed from craving there's no grief - so how fear?

fear is born of duality —

Desire urges me on, while fear bridals me.

For, just as in the beginning it is formed by desire, so afterwards love is kept in existence only by painful anxiety.

Desire makes everything blossom; possession makes everything wither and fade.

fear brings about that which one is afraid of, and hyper-intention makes impossible what one wishes

Fear makes come true that which one is afraid of.

Without Hope we live in desire.

Sensual craving gives rise to grief;
Sensual craving gives rise to fear.
For someone released from sensual craving
There is no grief;
And from where would be fear?
