Notepads Everywhere: I love capturing ideas as they come to me, but because I shut my phone off between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., it’s not always possible to capture them on my phone. For that reason I keep physical notepads everywhere.

That you should write down valuable ideas that occur to you as soon as possible goes without saying: we sometimes forget even what we have done, so how much more what we have thought.

Ideas are ultimately worthless unless you activate them with focused and consistent action.
