God is a mean-spirited, pugnacious bully bent on revenge against His children for failing to live up to his impossible standards.

Not because I couldn’t find God, but because suddenly I absolutely did: God was there, I realized, and God had no intention of making things happen or not, of saving my mother’s life. God was not a granter of wishes. God was a ruthless bitch.

[God is] a vindictive bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser , a misogynistic, homophobic racist, an infanticidal, genocidal, phillicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.

I prayed to the whole wide universe and hoped that God would be in it, listening to me. I prayed and prayed, and then I faltered. Not because I couldn't find God, but because suddenly I absolutely did: God was there, I realized, and God had no intention of making things happen or not, of saving my mother's life. Whatever happened to God's justice? I am convinced that God exist and God is one asshole.

God is cruel. Sometimes he makes you live.

The gentler and kinder the god, the more harsh and cruel its worshippers, for they hold to their conviction with taut certainty, febrile in its extremity, and so cannot abide dissenters. They will kill, they will torture, in that god’s name. And see in themselves no conflict, no matter how bloodstained their hands.

Those whom God wishes to destroy he drives mad.

Their God is angry and unkind because they made him in their image.

This beast, at which thou criest out,
Suffers not any one to pass her way
But so doth harass him, that she destroys him;

And has a nature so malign and ruthless
That never doth she glut her greedy will,
And after food is hungrier than before.

God hates a coward...

God does not play dice with the universe.

God will break your heart.

God exists, and he’s not only a nasty SOB, he’s also a B-movie director with a warped sense of humor. And I don’t want to be his next sight gag.
