We are each other's harvest; we are each other's business; we are each other's magnitude and bond.

We were, literally and figuratively, in the same boat.

You know, we have pieces of the people that have cared about us all through our lives, and they're all part of us know. And so we represent, each one of us represents, so many investments from others. No one of us is alone.

Yes, we fought violence and knew violence
Yes, we hated the inner and outer oppression
Yes, that day we were looking at each other
Yes, we saw the sunlight pouring down
Yes, the corner of the table was between us
Yes, our eyes saw each other's eyes
Yes, our mouths saw each other's mouths
Yes, our breasts saw each other's breasts
Yes, our bodies entire saw each other
Yes, it was beginning in each
Yes, it threw waves across our lives
Yes, the pulses were becoming very strong
Yes, the beating became very delicate
Yes, the calling the arousal
Yes, the arriving the coming
Yes, there it was for both entire
Yes, we were looking at each other

In that way we were both just like each other. We both allowed too deep of a contrast between our interiors and our exteriors. We both clung to self-assured masks that actually allowed us to cause ourselves more unseen harm.

I did not always think he was right nor did he always think I was right but we were each the person the other trusted.

Our lives, our stories, flowed into one another's, were no longer our own, individual, discrete.

We were created to look at one another, weren't we

We really wanted to know all the unknowable things about each other and how we were the same and how we were different, if we even were, maybe nobody is.

We eagerly signed up for what Silicon Valley was selling, but soon realized that in doing so we were accidently degrading our humanity.

As you are now so once were we.

... Man is not truly one, but truly two... even if I could rightly be said to be either, it was only because I was radically both...

It's as if we were both digging into each other's soul to find a self that was put there before we were born.

Separately they had different strengths. Together they were complete.
