What is obscenity? And to whom?

Everybody says sex is obscene. The only true obscenity is war.

Inhumanity is the keynote of stupidity in power.

Omnipotence is most omnipotent when one does nothing!

"Your stupidity is appalling!"
"Most stupidity is!"

There is nothing more horrifying than stupidity in action.

ABSURDITY, n. A statement or belief manifestly inconsistent with one's own opinion.

The sad thing about true stupidity is that you can do absolutely nothing about it.

There is something powerful in the whispering of obscenities, about those in power. There's something delightful about it, something naughty, secretive, forbidden, thrilling. It's like a spell, of sorts. It deflates them, reduces them to the common denominator where they can be dealt with.

The perversity of the Universe tends towards a maximum

There is nothing more awful, insulting, and depressing than banality.

It was a convulsion of obscenity, a spasm of lasciviousness – an exudation of secret hungers framed by compulsion: desire without pleasure, pain mated awfully to lust. It was like watching a soul stripped naked, and all its dark and unmentionable secrets laid bare.

I am talking about ultimate deceit. I am talking about unparalleled treachery. Bottomless lies. Depths that are seen that are previously unimaginable. Darkness and shattering despair that could break bones. Paranoia and horror that could stop the heart cold. All inflicted on one's self by one's self. The soul turns schizophrenic and goes hopelessly insane.
