Happiness is not best achieved by those who seek it directly.

Happiness is not achieved by the conscious pursuit of happiness; it is generally the by-product of other activities.

Happiness is never your own; it is where the ‘I’ is not. It is beyond your reach; you have only to reach out beyond yourself and you will find it.

Happiness does not come from consumption of things.

What good is it to seek our happiness in the opinion of others if we cannot find it in ourselves?

Those who search for happiness do not find it because they do not understand that the object of the search is the seeker.
