It is the soul that sees; the outward eyes
Present the object, but the Mind descries.
We see nothing till we truly understand it.

If you long for belief, sit down in the fire!

When the ear receives subtly; it turns into an eye.
But if words do not reach the ear in the chest, nothing happens.

It is my eyes which see, and the sight of my eyes grants beauty to the earth. It is my ears which hear, and the hearing of my ears gives its song to the world. It is my mind which thinks, and the judgement of my mind is the only searchlight that can find the truth. It is my will which chooses, and the choice of my will is the only edict I must respect.

His ear heard more than what was said to him, and his slow speech had overtones not of thought, but of understanding beyond thought.

The soul is here for its own joy.

When we tune out the opinions, expectations, and obligations of the world around us, we begin to hear ourselves.

What matters deafness of the ear, when the mind hears? The one true deafness, the incurable deafness, is that of the mind.

We imagine always when we speak that it is our own ears, our own mind, that are listening.

Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

It is with the soul that we grasp the essence of another person, not with the mind, not even with the heart.
