Child, child, do you not see? For each of us comes a time when we must be more than what we are.

We become brave by doing brave acts.

I know that people can be better than they are. We are capable of bearing a great burden, once we discover that the burden is reality and arrive where reality is.

We must become bigger than we have been: more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community.

TO HAVE MORE THAN YOU’VE GOT, BECOME MORE THAN YOU ARE.

(Y)ou've got to do more than what's expected if you want to get ahead.

The willingness to show up changes us, It makes us a little braver each time.

We must dare to be great; and we must realize that greatness is the fruit of toil and sacrifice and high courage.

To be an overachiever you have to be an over believer.

For a man to achieve all that is demanded of him, he must regard himself as greater than he is.

BRAVE

To be brave is to behave
bravely when your heart is faint.
So you can be really brave
only when you really ain't.

If we want to be more like Leonardo, we have to be fearless about changing our minds based on new information.

We are wiser than we know.

There are so many ways to be brave in this world. Sometimes bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else. Sometimes it involves giving up everything you have ever known, or everyone you have ever loved, for the sake of something greater.

But sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes it is nothing more than gritting your teeth through pain, and the work of every day, the slow walk toward a better life.

That is the sort of bravery I must have now.
