You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously.

If you’re reading these words, perhaps it’s because something has kicked open the door for you, and you’re ready to embrace change. It isn’t enough to appreciate change from afar, or only in the abstract, or as something that can happen to other people but not to you. We need to create change for ourselves, in a workable way, as part of our everyday lives.

The creative act is not hanging on, but yielding to a new creative movement. Awe is what moves us forward.

Life is change. If you aren't growing and evolving, you're standing still, and the rest of the world is surging ahead.

We ought to step out of our old, hard casing. We think that we are one kind of people, when in fact we are always creating ourselves. We are not fixed. We are constantly becoming, constantly coming into being.

To become original, you have to try something new, which means accepting some measure of risk.

Change we need

We must all learn not only to not fear change, but to embrace it enthusiastically and, perhaps even more important, encourage and drive it.
